Summer Happenings

Summer seems to be flying by
even though we really haven't taken many vacation days.

Hilights of the summer so far are :

• We just got back from a great 3 day surf trip to Punta Cabras where
  the waves were head high for 2 days.

• Kaiel received an award for most improved at Junior Lifeguards. He is
  really turning into quite the water man.
  
• Dave and I are doing an X-terra Offroad tri up at Big Bear next week.
  Should be interesting since we train at sea level.
  
• Planning a trip to the Central Coast or possibly back to Baja in two weeks
  
  
  

Summer in San Diego

Well it has been a while since I posted and summer is now in full swing.
Tourists, traffic, cold water and red tide have been the norm for the past month.
While in the past summer has always been a season to look forward to it is now kind of a drag. Basically comes down to too many people.

We found out our neighbor is renting his house out for $2700 a week !!! Well guess what we are doing next summer? That's right renting ths place out and heading to Costa Rica, Nicaragua or even the Central Coast for a month.
Well that's the plan anyway.
